Alex Reid signs with Sony TV, will co-run NBC's Michael J. Fox comedy Apr 3rd 2013, 23:14 By Jethro Nededog LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Sony Pictures Television is going into business with comedy writer/producer Alex Reid, who will also be installed as the co-showrunner for NBC's untitled Michael J. Fox comedy series from the studio. The two-year overall deal begins on June 1, a Sony TV rep confirms to TheWrap. Reid will executive produce and co-run the new 22-episode series with creator Sam Laybourne.
